Raynham Hall Museum

What’s the story?

Raynham Hall Museum is the nearly 300-year-old Townsend family home in Oyster Bay, NY. Robert Townsend, head of George Washington’s Culper Spy Ring, was from a family of prominent merchants and heroic patriots who were engaged in the worlds of espionage, domestic life and the decorative arts. They hired Technopath to build a new WordPress website, reflecting their historical position in today’s New York. We designed and developed a clean, aesthetically pleasing website with a style that reflects that of the actual house; where the public can learn about special exhibits, view collections, purchase tickets and memberships, donate funds, sign-up for events, obtain information critical to research, field trips, the foundation’s collection of antiquities as well as photoshoot policies and more. We delivered the finished product on time and on budget, training the staff, giving them control of their own platform and --at the close of the project—we were hired for ongoing monthly support services
